These terms cover bookings, memberships and gift cards at Duckbutt, Laugavegur 42, 101 Reykjavík. By booking a chair or buying from us, you agree to them.
Bookings
A booking holds a chair and a barber for the time shown. Please arrive a few minutes early. If you are more than ten minutes late we may need to shorten the service or move you to a later slot.
You can move or cancel a booking free of charge up to 12 hours before it starts. After that, or if you do not show up, we charge half the price of the booked service.
Walk-ins
Walk-ins are welcome whenever a chair is free, until an hour before closing. Booked clients always go first.
Prices and payment
Prices are listed in Icelandic krónur and include VAT and a wash and style. They are the same for every barber. You pay at the shop after your service, by card, phone or cash.
Memberships
Memberships are billed monthly in advance on the first of the month. Unused visits roll over for one month, then expire.
You can pause a membership for up to two months a year, or cancel it at any time. Tell us before the first of the month and the next payment will not be taken. Memberships are personal and cannot be shared, apart from the guest cut included in the Everything plan.
Gift cards
Gift cards are valid for two years from the date of purchase and can be used with any barber, on any service or membership. Any remaining balance stays on the card. Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash.
If you are not happy
Tell us within seven days and we will fix the cut free of charge. We do not offer refunds on completed services.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
